To anyone on the boards. Is this post true about Marquez and PAc or is it a lie? Did Marquez choose John over PAc?

Man, get your facts straight. Marquez was offered 750,000 to rematch Pacquiao the first time and turned it down to instead fight Chris John for 30,000. When Pac does fight Valero lets see if you have the balls to man up and make a PERMENANT ban bet.
I already know you won't though, or you will just come back under another alt, right Razors Edge?

While you at it??? lol...I just proved you to be a liar lol. My opinion is Pac and his people waited Marquez to get old. That is my opinion lol. You just flat out lied lol. Everyone here knows Marquez wanted the Pac rematch and asked for more money than 750,000. Everyone knows this. You can say anything you want about his biggest payday, but that has nothing to do with what Nacho and Marquez thought they were worth dealing with greedy Arum. This is a rematch fight. Arum took the offer off the table and didn't want to negotiate anymore and that is why they took the John fight. They didn't offer Marquez the Pac fight, and Marquez said no, I want the John fight for 30,000 lol. Don't make Marquez look like a sucka lol.

Lmao, I don't have to make Marquez look like a "sucka". He did that all by himself when he turned down the biggest payday of his career and than later lost his title for a measly 30k. Still waiting on that proof of Pac waiting for JMM to get old before rematching him. You gonna show us that sometime today?

Why can't you just say King Boof, I made a mistake. Marquez did want more money. He didn't take the John fight over the Pac fight. Things would be all gravy. Now you turn back into KidLiar lol.

What you so conveniently leave out is Marquez could of taken the fight if he wanted it. It was on the table. It was the biggest payday he had ever seen, and he choose to walk away from it. Let me repeat that for you.... HE CHOOSE TO WALK AWAY FROM IT. He wasn't in a position to call the shots. You have tried to say it was Manny's fault, but who turned down the most money they had ever seen. who settled for comparitive chump change and lost their title anyway? Just answer the question lil man. answer the question. JUST answer the question! Then explain to us all again how it was Pacquiao's fault the rematch wasn't made sooner.

NO Marquez did NOT take the John fight over theManny P. fight. When he took the John fight, he'd been sitting idle for months and really had no options on the table. Then he was offered the fight with John, who had a title, for $32,500 and he took it, travelled to the Far East, probably spent most of his share of the purse on avoiding getting an upset stomach from the unfamiliar food etc. and lost the decision. It was supposed to be close, and there are conflicting reports about the fairness of the decision. However John was a damned good fighter and probanly won the fight.

You also are correct in what you say in this letter which is a fair account of the situation at that time. Marquez (or Beristain) DID refuse the $750,000, which was their largest purse offer ever. However it was Nacho Beristain as his manager/trainer, who was blamed for this, and everyone was saying that whilst he was a great trainer, (because of Marquez' great recovery in the Manny P. fight) he was a lousy manager ( because he turned down $750,000). We got (and get) all sorts of reports and who really knows what's true or not.
