big money. big event. it will be like maywheather hatton only bigger. cause I think calzaghes more liked in england and pavlik might not be more popular but I think he's more liked and both wins would really push it into the mainstream more then anyother fight lately. probably competing with pbf and dlh!

Not really, Hattons more well known to the main stream casual fan. Calzaghe has come on a lot recently though. I think his actual fans are more serious, whereas Hatton fans consist of a lot of footballers and guys along for the ride. Hattons certainly a much bigger pull of crowds anywhere than Calzaghe.

Pavliks more liked but he's not got the full star quality yet.

It would be big money and a massive fight no doubt. I think a more valuable one too, between 2 respect talented boxers in it for the sport, and serious good fans and boxing fans whom want it to happen. Might not though and I hope ppl don't build their hopes up too much. Not only does it need Calzaghe beating Roy and Pavlik beating Hops, no certainties, but also Calzaghe wanting to fight on and a deal being struck.

Yeah it will probably happen. Calzaghe figting Jones and Pavlik fighting Hopkins only serves to make the fight even bigger.

Calzaghe has only had one fight in the US and it wasnt an impressive performance so if he ups it against Jones, his stock will rise.

Pavlik is quite well known and a potential superstar but has quite fullfilled it yet. Beating and possibly KOing Hopkins will elevate him.

Fight becomes much bigger, both guys get paid more.

Joe gets to puncture another American hypejob.

Everyone wins.
