How many world champs has Calzaghe fought when defending his title 20+ times??? How many Titles did he take???
That is what he should be judged by !
For the record i am not a huge fan of Calzaghes style and would much prefer to watch a prime RJJ,Nigel Benn,Pavlic etc etc but you gotta give calzaghe his Props what hes done hes done well !
If you cant respect this and feel hes not achieved nothing then your opinion is dubious IMO !Comment

Both Jack and Kelly know he will kick Joes butt thats why they want it , I agree it probably wont happen but it wont be Kelly pulling out it will be Joe like he has already done once after calling Kelly out , Enzo **** after seeing Kelly up close , like Jack said Enzo wants no part of his monster , if Kelly is really impressive beating Bhop Joe wont fight him thats my gut feeling as Joe has been a cherry picker his whole career he aint gunna risk it all now against a young hungry lion that punches like a mule .Comment

How many WCs has Joe fought or beat in their prime , its two Kessler and Lacy and Lacy is and was a hype job , you guys really get off on beating old washed up name fighters , we do the same in Aus as you do in England import shot names to sell to a gullible public , it amazes me that in a world boxing forum that you guys cant see through the marketing rort , the best recent example was Hatton and Castillo , the joke was it had you guys in raptures .Comment

Not overly surprising you criticise and try to undermine two of Britains best fighters when you've shown you have issues with liking the British. You've ranted about the English, SAD syndrome and all kinds of **** before. Your broad dislike and largely invented portrayal of the British and 2 of it's best fighters are a complete joke.
How can you say Hatton or Calzaghe are hype jobs which is essentially what your saying in saying their well marketed, it warrants no credit. Calzaghe is undisputed #1 at SMW and LHW, and p4p #2. In the world. Hatton is #1 in his division and had many good wins. I'm not saying their flawless of have top resumes. But whats new loads of people don't. Does Pavlik? Funny, you seem to pay him more respect. The extent you go to really shows you up to be bias and leaves you deserving little credit.
I'll happily take a bet with you on Calzaghe if he faces Pavlik. More than happily. Saying Enzo and Joe are scared of Pavlik since Gary lost is a joke. You think Joe hadn't watched Pavlik before, expected Gary to win? Simple, cynical, and wishful thinking. The other point worth mentioning is I am one of the least biased posters to ever post here , that one is easy to prove also , as far as you trying to play the Brit bash card like you always do that sir is a case of Brits like yourself being super paranoid about any criticism even when its true , the only thing I have against some Brit posters is they have blinkers on concerning British fighters .Comment

They faced other fighters in and around their prime, and again no ones said every single one was great. A win over Castillo was not bad, where's your solid proof it was solely marketing then? Aren't most fights to varying degrees a matter of marketing the fighter and a lot of personal interpretation goes into deciding how much on different fighters? Yes. You sir apply ridiculous levels of criticism and dismissive attitude to Britains two top fighters whom are champions and #1 across 3 weight divisions.
