He absolutely cleaned out 1 division. That is more than Margarito or Cotto can say. I won't even mention the potetntial future Hall of Famers on his resume.

Cleaning out 1 division happens often enough that its not a big deal.

Should Margarito beat Williams in a rematch, he'd have beaten every threat at that weight.

It wouldn't put him very high on mine for something that has been done numerous times in the history of the sport.

Mayweather has truly beaten very good fighters, but outside of Corrales, he competition was Very good at best. Roy had issues too, but he did beat Toney and Hopkins. So IMO they are relativly the same. Hatton at 147 is nothing special, Dlh had lost many fights enroute to their encounter. Judah lost to every good fighter he faced. Baldomir he is a joke.......

My friend Mayweather is a top talent, and has beaten very good fighters, and we must give him credit for moving up 17 pounds and still being undefeated. However you can not hype up his resume the way your doing. Pacquio has beaten better pound per pound fighters north. Leonard in his hey dey beat much better fighters, and then moved up and beat hagler. Mayweather ducked the best fighters at welterweight, vs Leonard who fought the best middleweight of the current 10 years... Pacquio is ducking now one.. At least dlh fought every one..

I will give one thing to consider. Shane Mosly after beating dlh was considered the best pound per pound in a long time, and the heir to the name sugar. However he did something Mayweather has not done. he fought big fighters and very serious risks.....Forrest and Wright.....Mayweather has refused to fight any of the big welters, and backed out of the wright fight. Both mayweather and Mosley moved up in weight too..
