He's underrated now cuz he's old. He got the props he deserved when he was #1 P4P. Just cuz he's past his best now people think he's completely shot. He's still got maybe 2 fights left in him.

u are assuming that nobody had the ability to make him fight off the ropes in his prime and to an extent u are right but only because he did not face a lot of fighters he should have
Thats the thing Im not assuming Im going on what was actual you are actually doing more assuming than I .

Roy was not unbeatable in the 90's he struggled against cagey fighters epecially cagey leftys ,okay he did not struggle with Del Valle but he was decked in that fight and whether u believe he was prime or not he struggled with Tarver's cagey southpaw counter punching style as he did with Harmon another cagey counter punching lefty and he struggled with the cagey orthadox counter puncher in Montell Griffin who was outboxing him untill the knockdowns i know Collins and Benn are not cagey fighters but when u look at Roy's game as a whole u can see he had flaws that could have been capatalised on by top fighters

bottom line the guy was not unbeatable in the 90's well he never proved he was anyway he looked it though i must admit but it is not gospel that he would of beaten all these top fighters had he faced them .
The bottom line is no fighter is unbeatable in a verbal sense but many are in the real world in that they were not beaten , one is real the other is speculation the old saying winners are grinners holds true .

BTW he did not look to hot against Sugar Boy Malinga either untill the KO i know Roy won against Malinga ,Griffin ,Harmon ,Dell Valle but that is like me saying Naz beat Kelly ,Boom Boom Johnson ,Sanchez ,by brutal KO's and showed no weakness doing it
Every fighter has soft wins and off nights that can be attributed to many things none of which because he wasn't good enough many happen in fights they were supposed to win easy and just didnt get up for it , to judge a fighter is very subjective , for me amongst other things I hold a lot of weight in beating an opponent that's in their prime a big name that is well on the slide is very deceiving as far as a win goes .

You mention Naz well Kelly showed up lots of flaws in Hamed and then the first time he was in with an elite prime fighter he got dominated ,, Roy has wins over prime Toney and prime Hopkins , two greats with the emphasis on Prime , what those two have gone onto achieve to this day says a lot about what Roy was at his best , it says way more than what Malinga represents about Roys ability as a fighter .

Jones is my second favourite fighter after Calzaghe.

            Prime Jones beats Calzaghe.

            Todays Jones doesn't.

Jones had trouble with quite a few opponents, and went 12 with even more. At LHW, he wasn't even that hard of a puncher!

I'd have liked to have seen him in with Benn more than anyone else.
                  calzaghe goes 12 everytime

LHW he was a very hard puncher

                  u mad ?.. you furious ?..

Calzaghe has been the distance (full 12) 12 times out of 45, thats 26.6% hes been the full distance out of all of his fights.

Compared to Jones 13 out of 56 fights, 23.2% the full distance out of all of his fights.

Really not that much of a difference
