Why do people think Pavlik will KTFO Hopkins?!?!

Hopkins has been in the ring with bigger punches then Pavlik and wasn't KO'd so **** knows how Pavlik manages it?!?! Unless he packs out his gloves with lead?

It is a genuine question, I honestly cannot wait to see what the reaction is if Pavlik were to beat Hopkins.

If I were to be totally honest, I don't even have Pavlik winning against Hopkins, Pavlik is too one dimensional for a fighter as smart as Hopkins.

After seeing that Hopkins is able to floor Calzaghe at his current age, I wouldn't be suprised to see Hopkins win by stoppage either.

Indeed. Those who imagine Hopkins is going to be some quivering aged wreck are very sadly mistaken. I would not be surprised if he beat Pavlik at all, though I do favour Pavlik to get the decision. If Jermain Taylor can do it...

If Pavlik does beat Hopkins they will almost certainly try to elevate him above Calzaghe on the P4P, at the very least he'll be directly below. Its all good though, so long as Joe actually fights him after Jones, the truth will out.

Actually, I thought Joe lost to the old man, and I think Pavlik will lose as well.

I think you'll hear mostly the positive sides of Hopkins and a win over him for Pavlik, if he'd beat him. Whereas for Calzaghe it was only the negatives brought up, and afterwards.

Hopkins was more of a style nitemare for Joe don't forget. Joe had a bad performance. And Hopkins is even older.

So really, Pavlik needs to UD or KO late for it to be a similar win in some respects.
