You can't pad an amateur record, as you fight whoever you are drawn against.

Calzaghe was 110-10 in his amateur career.

The only reason he didn't go to the Olympics is because he qualified as a welterweight,l but by the time the games had come around, he had outgrown that weight division.

The ABA could have enetered him as a light middle but they screwed him.
