I gotta disagree ,Benn called out Roy Jones loads of times! Infact Jones even called out Benn also ! But Benn didn't feel he needed to go to the states nore did Jones wanna go to the UK ! And defiantly not after what Happened to his mate McClellan !

Well since Calzaghe has been blatantly ducking Pavlik and Abraham has a mandatory fight to deal with, Hopkins is one of the only options at this point.

Look Hopkins is finished. He's got no stamina and should retire already. He's got nothing left to prove.

He was picked for one reason only. That's for Pavlik to better beating him than Calzaghe did. And that should be easy considering the fact that Calzaghe fought his worst fight in several years against Hopkins. So this fight is a set-up for a near-certain Pavlik-Calzaghe fight. Smart move in the eye of the general public.

Pavlik really shouldn't be getting much credit for fighting such an old man. The better road from a hard-core fans view would have been to take on Abraham now, by paying off his mandatory.
