    What attracted you to boxing??

For me it was my great grandfather and my grandfather. i remember my grandfather watching me as a little kid and I would be in bed and he wou8ld have the fights on sitting in his chair in the living room and I would crawl out from my bed and sneak up to him and watch along. I remember how excited he got about the sport and tok an interest in it almost immediately. As I grew I loved the sport so much I wanted to participate in it so I begged for a pair of boxing gloves. I wanted to get involved with a gym that promoted boxing but my mom wouldn't let me due to the fact she was worried i might get hurt. In an attempt to steer me away from boxing she had me join football. I love the contact but I still loved watching boxing and still wanted to get more involved with the sport.

At about the age of 16 I was in some trouble in school and had a constant issue with getting into scuffles. At that point my uncle took me down to a gym and he said well if you really want to fight then get in teh ring. I have been in a love affair with the sport for years and now I finally got married to it. It has been my second wife ever since. I watch, participate and read about boxing all the time. I love the sport and the brutality of it......Lefty

Mike Tyson! I remember being a kid, and my whole family gathering in the living room to watch Tyson fight. I've been hooked ever since.

                Probably wont expect this but.....

I was suspended from school for fighting (like Fernando Vargas story lol.) I was watching tv and i seen a Francisco Bojado fight.

I always liked boxing, and my father followed guys like Trinidad and Cotto in the olympics to pro and all that. But when i seen Bojado fight he reminded me of myself for some reason. His speed and skills looked so good i just thought i wanna be able to do that.

so yea, Francisco "Panchito" Bojado motivated me too box. As far as watching it, i always followed the big fights because my father watched them but i never truely got into until probably back in 2001-2002 when i started boxing.

Yeah I love to watch Tyson fight, but never really concentrated on watching boxing all that much. Even when I was being trained at a gym I never watched as much as I do now.
