Did you mention,when fighters start slurring their words,their behaviour becomes abnormal and impulsive or they have problems with their balance and coordination?
That's always a good sign ,that a fighter is shot.

i have read in various post term "faded, past prime, going down", imho, these terms pictures a fighter no longer at his prime/peak and when he reach the bottom its there where he is considered shot ...

i also read that Ls is also a good gauge of being shot as long as you keep winning, no way your shot...

(only problem some fighters just dont know when they are already at the bottom and should stop)
