He talked about a rematch down the line at the end of the article.

cotto just lost......he can call oscar out all he wants, but if oscar doesn't want margarito, and he WON that fight, he's not going to face cotto. oscar wants a money fight, and the only way he gets that, is if he faces someone who's WON their last couple fights. the plan was to fight cotto had he won.........

regardless, i always thought it should've been oscar-paul williams and the winner fights the winner of marg-cotto.....

but we see the type of **** oscar is on rite now...................

I don't see why this isn't a bad idea.. I mean.. He aint getting any younger.. He wants to fight the best out there, and to do that you gotta fight your way up.

Unless De La Hoya decides to jump in the mix.
To become/stay a CHAMP, you have to fight tough opposition. And I don't think you have to worry about his age just yet, unless you know that his life is full of bad habits...

If Oscar took a Cotto fight instead of giving Margarito a shot he would be butchered by the media and fans. No way he subjects himself to that kind of scrutiny on top of a dangerous fight to boot.

So much for Cotto claiming that he never calls out anyone and he fights who they put in front of him. What a joke.

I'll fight the glass jawed Cintron.
