cotto already said in a interview that he quit the fight...not the coner. but he quit because he was worried about his health and family....the man admit he quit but that don't make him a coward....

If Cotto would've continued, he would've gotten KO'ed and humiliated. Anymore damage could've made Cotto even worse and probaly limit his career.

I think what he did was smart. He is not dumb, and he will be back. Yea he took a beating and its his first time to say so. Who else out there swarms you down with nonstop punches and can take punches in return like Tony the Sentinel? I still think Cotto is a great fighter and Tony is the only man I see beating him. If only Mayweather was in Boxing... So we could see who would win between those two.

Agreed. I get tired of people throwing that word "coward" out there in reference to Cotto. It's easy to say that from the comfort behind a computer. Especially when these peope have never been in Cotto's situation or even put on a pair of boxing gloves. Cotto didn't quit and I get tired of reading that lie.

Actually, those rumors didnt come from PR, but from a Las Vegas radio station next day after the fight. Margarito is considered a great fighter in PR, we appreciate what he showed in the ring, not because it was against Cotto.
