you said it best. The only other calzaghe fight i had seen was one on hbo maybe a year ago. I forget his opponents name but the ref called the fight i think in the 10th round when calzaghe was throwing several punche...uh...slaps and his opponent did not respond so the ref called the fight. I thought it was a bad call...most of the punches were missing and the ones that were landing did not look effective. Then i saw him against hopkins and i noticed the same thing...very little power to his punches. How is this guy called a great fighter? Hopkins a couple years ago woulda easily won. I look forward to seeing roy jones embarrass him and i would love to see kelly pavlik knock calzaghes ass out in 8 rounds or less.

I know most of you have already read this but i felt like what hopkins said about calzaghe deserved its own thread. Calzaghe stans need to realize that hes not that good. Hes a skilled boxer...ill give him that but he doesnt even punch, he slaps. Pavlik would make Calzaghe look real bad...i hope the 2 of them fight at some point. Im suprised that most of this site thinks calzaghe would win.

Hopkins knows the deal...he knows hes going up against a less skilled opponent but an opponent with a gun that needs to be smothered. I hate to say this but i dont see hopkins winning...but i dont see him gettin embarrassed either. I could see pavlik embarrassing calzaghe if the two of them fight in the future. But first calzaghe will get exposed by roy jones.

Yea I'm suprised to, Pavlik has everything it takes to beat Calzaghe. When Pavlik destroys Hopkins people will realize.

Pavlik has a great workrate, punches 4 times harder than Calzaghe, his chin is ever better.

It's not enough for a win, but it shows how hard he can take a good punch, Bernard is old, why not put gay calzaghe with pavlik, then well really see how good he is.
