Margarito loses to Paul 10 time out of ten....

Another fact is that Williams doesnt give a **** hell fight anyone..Cotto..Mosley..Pavlik...Margarito even after he ****ed up Cotto.....

Could have been Arum's tactic to keep blame off of Margarito but it didn't work since everybody was on the Most feared welter cricizing him for saying "that Williams isn't worthy, who has Williams beaten". Something Mayweather usually does.

      2. The only Don King tactic I see from Arum is him trying to keep control of the welterweight division the same way King did with the heavyweights. By having top welterweights from Top Rank fight each other, that way no matter who wins or losses......ARUM WINS.

Sure, I'll be happy to. This is an excerpt from ESPN.com and written by Dan Rafael on 3/29/2007:

Under the terms of the settlement, Goossen will promote the fight, which he won the right to Jan. 30 with a purse bid of $1,506,250, of which Margarito is entitled to 80 percent, or a career-high payday of $1.205 million. He will also receive an additional $395,000 that Goossen promised to pay him on top of the winning bid amount.
Top Rank objected to the purse bid result because it didn't participate at the request of Margarito. It claimed that Margarito (34-4, 24 KOs) had agreed to fight for Miguel Cotto's version of the 147-pound title June 9 instead of facing Williams (32-0, 24 KOs), which is why Top Rank didn't take part in the purse bid. Top Rank sent out a media release Jan. 29 announcing that Margarito had agreed to the Cotto fight, a release it said Margarito approved.
Top Rank also claimed that when Goossen agreed to pay Margarito more than the amount he was entitled to under the purse bid, it amounted to interference with Top Rank's exclusive promotional agreement. Although Top Rank won't be involved in promoting Margarito-Williams, Arum said part of the settlement included Margarito signing a one-year extension to his promotional agreement with Top Rank, which will take him through at least 2008 with the company.

That is just speculation by you. You don't know that there is any buyout clause. Amd possibly the price for the release would be too steep. Arum is old and rich and can afford to be stubborn.

Let's get it right. Margarito has fought Williams. PBF has avoided Margarito, permanently.

I don't think any boxer @ that level is a coward. I don't think Margarito can beat Paul.

I do not know for certain that there is a buyout clause. But they are fairly common in agency contracts. Additionally, I said that Rita can negotiate a release.

For example, FMJ bought out of the contract and made more %% than with Bob. Ditto Oscar.

I'm speculating about as much as you are about the price and Arum's stubborness

Mayweather had a buyout clause (written for a specific amount) in his contract. When he invoked it there was nothing Arum could do about it.
