Cloud will knock Chad Dawson out in less than 4 rounds.

Same explosive type of offensive. Very quick hands for such a heavy handed guy.

Very limited defensively. Not head movement. Gets hit a lot a lot a lot a lot.

I think he'll do good at light-heavyweight because of how old most of the guys are, but right now he would struggle tremendously against equally young and enthusiastic fighters, like Chad Dawson.

Still young though, and tonight was his first class opponent.
I thought that when they mentiond Calzaghe, but we'd have to see him with stiffer competition before we make that judgement.

Did anyone else feel like Gonzalez never had anything on his punches? Incredible chin but just like every other time he's been against the elite, no chance of winning. His footwork and punching power are terrible, but the guy's a warrior to keep coming forward.

He showed really good defense with that shoulder roll actually. He would roll the shoulder and shoot out that right hand like a rocket, that is how he ended the bout actually. He just needs more head movement and jab more and he will be good to go.

I thought he was a little lazy down the stretch considering the hurt he had already put on Julio and the lack of return fire. But on the flipside that also could be him showing smarts and not burning himself out in his first bout passed 4 rounds. We' have to see him in there with a top level guy still in his prime, not elite yet though, to see where he stands. But, he was very explosive, very impressive.

**** not even in the long turn, he would have this brain dead look on his face after those monster shots, I think the referee could have stopped it in the 7th and it would have been just as appropriate. Julio had no chance, he was just being punished in there.

I agree, right now he would lose to this guys but he just has to improve a bit to beat guys like Henry or even some of the old guys like Tarver or Johnson. These guys are almost 40 and they fade or will fade fast the next months. If all these old guys like Tarver, Johnson and Jones retire, chances are good for Cloud to hold a belt.

Been hugely protected so far. Last night's bout against against a badly sliding ex-champ coming off two losses, was a huge step up and he looked pretty decent. For a guy that had never been past 5 rounds, though he had slowed a ton, didn't look to bad in the 10th. A year or two off any type of title shot, but looks like an exciting fighter with potential to win a belt someday.

It's hard to really tell because he was in with a punching bag last night, but it's clear he can punch. He needs to work on setting his punches up better. I think if he used his jab and went to the body he could have stopped him a lot sooner.
