I was afraid of this....This is what I didn't want to see, but I just knew someone would bring this up sooner or later.It just makes sence for these two fighters to meet in the middle of the ring considering all their losses came from the hands of Margarito. I wanted them to fight down the road and at least for a belt. Hey, what can I say.....they put themselves in this situation by loosing to the same guy.
I see Cotto winning this fight if it happens. Just better overall skill. Kermit always has a punchers chance though! The reason why I didn't want them to fight like this is because I'm a fan of both. One has to loose, I just wish it was for a belt.

This pisses me off. Arum is an agent of Margarito and should be trying to get his fighter (client) the best deal, regardless if he was offended. **** Arum and his over sensitive ass!....

in a good close fight where you didn't take too much damage an immediate rematch is a must. In a hard battle where you took as much punishment as cotto did you don't want to get in the ring with the same guy in your very next fight. Chances are nothing will change come fight night!

yes. i harp for years about mosley making mental error and going backup against forrest.
i guess because i'm a margarito mancan ,easy for me to look favorably at a cotto/cintron right off the bat.
also... who knows,this will be a big money fight and cotto may needs more moola for being an idiot and becoming a baby factory. figure his wife was bribed to get back together before last fight. she sees dollar signs.
he must of had a fckdup camp all with his uncle and wife.

i totally agree. not only is he coming back too soon but against a viable opponent. you would think cotto would take some kind of tune up fight before a fight with cintron, but if he does beat cintron that would put him back in the mix real quick.

It would and personally as I have seen Cintron has a lot of wholes in his armour. Cotto if he has his confidence he should dispose of Cintron easily. Cintron still has a name that is why most of you see him as a threat. A puncher always has a chance for the KO. If Cotto does his usual body work and is able to back Cintron up he should win handily...Is it dangerous boxing is dangerous period...Look at Tysons vs Douglas

I feel the same way but if he does he get some ring rust and the loss looms in his mind. I don't know aobut you but when I ose or get the crap beat out of me. I stay up at night thinking am I less of a man? What could I have done differently? I should have stepped right I should have doubled up on those hooks to the body early. I should have stayed off the ropes. i should have well you get the picture......he needs to get back in the ring as soon as he is healthy enough too. Is Cintron the right opponent? Good fight for Cotto to get his confidence back, too much body punishment will stop Cintron. Unless Cintron lands a good uppercut hook combo and makes miguel do the dance. Quintana fight repeat!

in this case i think he should stay busy sooner.
boy... a divorce... trainer changes... he's young...
i'm sure he's better than me and won't go thru a "fckup period" if gets a divorce,but its common.
if i was his manager i'd get him back in there with a confidents builder like a forbes or a matthysee or the likes.
