I agree kessler is his biggest win. in fact, I say kessler is his ONLY legitimately good win. without that, calzaghe is nothing. ppl say his eubank win was great, well, eubank who was past prime, just came off 2 losses to another past prime fighter in steve collins. Hopkins was 43 years old. I don't care what way you want to twist that, whether you say he had some great recent wins or he was top p4p, he was 43 years old and he is a VERY old man when it comes to the sport of boxing and if you just watch some of his fights from atleast 6 years ago, you'll know that he is fighting every bit his age now. and i think the kd in the first round also diminishes the win by a lot.

As I've said many times before, calzaghe is overrated and is continuing to show his overratedness by taking fights with way past prime fighters like roy jones jr. but jones is still gonna give calzaghe quite the boxing lesson.

Kessler or Eubank is the best Calzaghe has faced, I don't understand people who say Hopkins won the fight, they shouldn't be allowed to judge ever again, wasnt a woman judge who gave it hopkins anyways?

do you think kessler is better than brewer , reid , mitchell , etc.?

i rank those 3 wins pretty good and don't rank the lacy and kessler wins much better.

people always bring up kessler and lacy and disregard brewer , reid and mitchell imo those 3 were very solid wins. all 3 were top 10 in their division for years and all 3 had been champ at one point.

Well, although they were all good fighters in their day, and solid wins for Joe, the main difference I see is that 1) Kessler held two SMW belts so it was literally a clash for SMW supremacy, whereas the others were basically title shots for ex champs who'd just lost their belts and 2) Kessler is clearly a more talented boxer than any of those guys were at their best. Thats why I see it as his biggest win. Most important fight and best boxer.
