Calzaghe Fans , learn something for free

    Calzaghe fans are so ******:

this is the kind of post i have had to tear apart on joecalzaghe.com/forum

I would normally just give an abusing answer to this kind of post, but instead im going to spend the next 10 minutes picking apart this post to show how much of a boxing idiot this guy really is...

    here we go:

    quote:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But Jones has his flaws too. His decline accelerated quickly when he got found out for doing steroids (and therefore the assumption is he stopped using them) (and BTW i don't criticize Jones for using them as most of the fighters on the planet (including our beloved Joe) have at somepoint probably used them
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Steroids is a very broad thing to say. Vitamin B-12 is a steroid... did you know that ? ( exactly so dont run your mouth when you dont know Bad do-do )... He was taking 4-AD, a VERY mild non toxic oral form of andro, which aids recovery of muscle tissue and lean gains. This was sold over the counter in the USA untill just recently, most popular brand being " BOLD " being banned, becasue of the U.S.A's crackdown on potentially harmfull PH and AAS. The assumption is he stopped using them ?... in every single one of his fights before and after eric harding his test results came back negative.

    quote:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
he fought a past it tarver when he was past it
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

apart from this being one of the ******est things i have ever read, it is also incorrect. Tarver is the exact same age as roy jones and at this point in his career has only had about 20 fights ( the first 10 + being to road bums and jounrey men ).. Tell me this . If Tarver is past it after 20 pro fights. Can you please tell me when his prime was ?... was it when he lost to eric harding ?... exactly get the facts right mr casual boxing fan.

    quote:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
, he stated for years he was going to move up to heavyweight several times and then backtracked about 8 times (remember, the whole Graciano Rocciganni V WBC deal started because Jones said he wanted to move to heavyweight then changed his mind),
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Joe calzaghe also stated for years he was going to fight a top contender. Joe calzaghe also said after the hopkins fight, he could take some of the good heavyweights out there right now, but lets not frown apon that, because we've got to belive what joe calzaghe says. if he says he can take a heavyweight then he can ?.... No i dont think so, joe wouldnt be able to last 5 rounds with any of the good heavyweights. The difference is roy jones said he would move to heavyweight and win a world title and he did just that. His only heavyweight fight being against the much larger and heavier john ruiz (103 kg) who had just beat evander hollyfield and been 12 rounds with many other fluid heavyweights. I think its also ridiculous that you think moving up to heavy weight is like eating a couple of steaks. The reason he probably talked about it for so long is becasue at the height of 5ft 10.5" beilve it or not its actually very difficult to get to 88kg from weighing just 63 in his first few fights... 10 kg weight difference and 3.5 " height difference + years of experience fighting heavyweights, is a HUGE advantage and shows why jones is the first person in 106 years to do what he did on that day. This is a legacty in its self

    quote:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
he repeatedly entered negotiations with fighters who offered him career high deals then walked away to fight some nobody for 500k
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some proof that he did exactly what you just said please. Thanks

    quote:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He never granted rematches to Bernard Hopkins or James Toney even though both warrented it, he turned down Chris Byrd because he wasn't a big fight then
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Proof of all this aswell

Well i think i have pretty much summed up how much of an idiot post that was. In future dont post Bad do-doe you dont know about. What i have just proved is that roy jones has a legacy for a reason. You could not find any great things about clazaghes career. Its sad that you try to.

I love that . I go into major detail proving a calzaghe fan wrong, and garryd's best reply is " you are the worst TroLL in history ! "

i think your contradicting yourself seeing as this site proves you have no knowledge of boxing as all your posts consist of one sentance of abuse,

I have yet to see you bring up a valid point about about any boxer

Joe Calzaghe has never lost, and apparently this means nothing. He didnt box well against Bernard Hopkins. Bernard Hopkins had one of his best performances of boxing, yet Joe Calzaghe still easily won winning many of the rounds. What if Joe Calzaghe had boxed well ?

Every boxer doesnt box well all the time, and it is on those occasions they usually lose. But, not Joe Calzaghe. Joe Calzaghe will win no matter what happens, because he knows how to adjust during the DIFFICULT fights, and he is very smart and talented.

The poster who made this thread doesnt look at the difficult fights. He only looks at how a boxer looked at his best performance, as if good performances will happen always. But, he must take into account boxer's at their worst also ! Roy Jones has looked awful in his worst performances. Joe Calzaghe has still looked good in his worst performances. This is what makes Joe Calzaghe unbeatable.

I am happy to be a fan of Joe Calzaghe and I will always root for him because hes the champion.
