IM watching FO SHO.....I just dont see Calzaghe winning....I really dont think he can handle Roys speed and power...Joes pity pats will be rolled off of Jones shoulder. Roy will move right then throw a fast lead right shortly after throw his leaping left hook and down goes calzaghe and I come in the next morning to find the forum up side down with nuthhuger arguements....This is just my opinion and Calzaghe fans dont base your fighters skills on bums hes beat in the past.. He barely beat Hopkins and Roy is a totally different fighter. All Im saying let not count our chickens before they hatch..It should be exciting to see the outcome..

The problem with a few members on here they all seem to Judge Calzaghe on the Hopkins fight ! which is silly !
don't get me wrong i am not a huge Calzaghe fan but you gotta give him his due ,what he does he does well !
And i think when he fights someone like Jones,who's not gonna pull the same spoiling cheating tactics as Hopkins,i think Calzaghes footwork will be way to much for Jones !
it will be a one way points blow out to the Welshman!
For the record i am a Hopkins fan but when i saw him in the Calzaghe fight blatently cheating and down on his hands and knees,claiming he had been hit low to the ref ,more or less begging the ref to have a point took away from Calzaghe,i felt so embarrassed watching it,it made me cringe !
There was only one fighter that looked silly that night and it wasnt the welshman !

Not many fighters who faced B-Hop have given him a tough scrap, except for Roy back in 1993 and Segundo Mercado a year or two later, even then he was never dominated. A young Taylor struggled in both fights against a 42 year old grandpa, Winky got bested, and Tarver wasn't even there. Hopkins just has the ability to bring out the worst in everyone, you can't look good against him. I never thought Calzaghe was going to dominate Hopkins and he didn't, but he won the fight where it counts, the score cards. Joe gets my respect and I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Roy, simply because Roy can't rely on his athletic gifts anymore. That being said, styles do make fights just look at Mayorga vs Forrest and Mosley vs Forrest, who would've thunk? So if Roy beats Calzaghe, that would definitely not surprise me either.
