Does Margarito have the balls to move up in weight?

Paul Williams was seriously ready to move up 2 weight classes & fight MW champ Kelly Pavlik. 2 of the great fighters of this era Floyd Money Mayweather & Oscar moved up 6 weight classes over the course of their career. That is 1 of the many reasons they are both going to the Hall of Fame. So many of the Margaritas now claim that Margarito is the greatest WW of this era despite his 5 losses & UD loss to another current WW title holder.

The 1st time Margarito moved up in weight he experienced yet another loss. Margarito is almost 6ft tall & walks around well over the 147 WW limit. Does anyone actually think he actually has the balls to move up in weight again to add to his legacy? Or will he camp out at WW for the rest of his career?

Margarito has no regard for 154 lb'ers.

Why does he need to move up when he has an opportunity to clean out the toughest division in boxing? I want to see him fight either Williams or Clottey with the winner fighting which ever belt holder that is left.

Margarito is the welterweight champion. There is no reason for him to move up in weight. His loss to Santos was because he was butted and fighting in Puerto Rico. He didn't embarrass himself at all. Williams could have had that fight with Pavlik, but he priced himself out of it. Unlike you I don't give credit to fighters who talk about moving up, just the ones who actually do.

Apparently the former Gold Medalist and future Hall of Famer doesn't share your confidence, because he could make that fight in a minute.

He'll have to move up eventually. I don't think he can stay at WW forever. But for now there's no point to him doin it. He's on top of the sport's hottest division. He's got unfinished business at WW wit Williams and to a degree, wit Clottey. As long as he can still make 147, why would he move up? 154 is stale as **** right now. I'm sure he'd do it for the DLH fight but no way Oscar takes it.
