I never did get to see this fight so im gonna wait and see what others say..
Still hard to get my head around Vargas beating Winky!lol
but i remember Winky crying robbery

Winky cried robbery when he lost to Julio Cesar Vasquez the same man to put him down 5 times. And he also cries after every lose. Vargas beat him.

I was a Vargas fan, but when the fight was over I thought Winky had won. He did show his bad habit of going on cruise control instead of stepping on the gas in the late rounds though.

Winky won a close fight that was only close because Wright gave away a couple of the late rounds. He was winning the early rounds pretty easily it looked to me. Vargas was hitting gloves a lot and Wright was connecting.

Last time I scored it, I had it Vargas close but clear 115-113. Like the Taylor fight, one guy lands more, but the other guy lands actual power punches. Vargas and Taylor both punched right through Wright's guard and deserved to win close fights.

Fair point, although I still was scoring fights when I watched this one for the first time.

not saying Wright couldn't have won it or anything, I just preferred Vargas' power shots to Wright's taps.
