Why has he never, never fought anyone from a larger weight class like cruiserweight, and usually fights smaller men?
hopkins had ONE fight at light heavyweight , his first fight ever.

de la hoya started out at junior lightweight NOT lightweight.

pavlik is bigger than bernard. bernard kept his weight low when he was young at 160. the only time he's ever walked around at 185-190 is probably right now.

Kelly's a middleweight. Pavlik fighting Hopkins is the same as Hopkins fighting a heavyweight (two weight divisions higher).

Kelly has courage to fight naturally bigger men.

So Antonio Margarito is a lightweight? Cottos a lightweight? Mayweather is a superfeatherweight? De La Hoya a lightweight? Pacquiao a 108 pounder?

EDIT- Hopkins was out of shape in his first fight. Hence him not fighting for a long time, he actually started training to get fit and healthy

Hopkins did fight two divisions higher when he went from middle to fight Tarver at light heavy....

How is that, Hopkins was a middleweight, he moved to lightheavyweight. And now you critisize him for not going to cruiserweight, and even mention heavyweight..

                  Wow, Your hatred is ridiculous.

He had one fight at light heavy, its only recently that he switched

On a lighter note, why does Calzaghe almost lose to 43 year old men who fought only welterweights
