If you want to sit there and say Cottos resume is better than floyds at 147 i would agree, but at 140, most of those guys werent even natural lightweights and had already fought floyd years earlier.

    Come again????

Floyd isnt better but neither is cottos, they are equal to me due to the fighters on there and the fact that they share common opponents nearly all of them being past their prime, with the only real standout wins for cotto being malignaggi and torres.

Exactly! And those to names/wins are better than anyone Floyd has faced @ 140. Malignaggi was undefeated prior to losing to Cotto, and has remained undefeated since moving on. Same can be said for Torres. His latest loss to Holt was a result of a headbutt that ko'd him.

You can't compare the two at 140. Mayweather was there for 3 fights and Cotto made his bones at 140. Besides, it's not like Malignaggi/Torres is that much better than Gatti/Bruseles. We are talking about a guy in Malignaggi who has been given two gift decisions in his last four fights. And then there is Torres, he of the first round KO to a guy he got lucky to beat in the first fight.

Yeah, im sure that headbutt had absolutely nothing to do with him being KO'd. LOL.

Just like **** being thrown in the ring had absolutely nothing to do with the impending outcome of the first fight.

Yeah I'm sure that right hand had nothing to do with it either.

Twice. Headbutts are a part of boxing. Just like low-blows, puching off the break, etc....
