Antonio Margarito Should Fight Paul Williams, Says Schaefer

As a big DLH fan I must admit this fight is complete bull****. He fought Hopkins and he knows the weight advantages in a fight. This is one big reason MMA is gaining momentum over boxing....because they put fights that people want to see.

Shaefer should look at DLH first before saying Margarito needs to fight Paul Williams.....how come he didn't give Pernell a Rematch? Tito? Sturm? I love Oscar but he should go out like a true legend...not this oversize bull****. Even if its not Margarito...atleast fight someone your own size.

As for Margarito fighting Williams....this and that about Margarito being scared or ducking him is very funny.....Margs isnt scared of Williams. Oscar has 1 more fight left, I'm pretty sure Williams would forget about Margarito if Oscar would offer him a fight, but it wont happen. Margarito vs Williams...the fight will happen, I'm guessing after he fights Oscar or the winner of the Mosley/Mayorga winner. I wouldn't get upset either if he fights Quintana as a tune up....hell Kelly Pavlik did it against Lockett.

Margarito is clearly ducking or being sheltered from Paul Williams. BTW the only reason he fought him the 1st time was because they were going to take his belt.

Margarito should fight Williams, that's the fight that makes the most sense right now.
I think Margarito would have a much better chance the second time around since Margarito starts off much faster now.

Dude come right off of that. Oscar is gonna be 6 inches taller and 25 pounds heavier. Nobody that much smaller than Oscar would ever, EVER beat him, throughout all of history, you wont find a guy who topped out at LW beating Oscar.

Just because Margarito has some unfinished business with Paul Williams, doesn't mean that Magarito must face Paul Williams immediatey. Look at Cintron, who had spent 3 years until fighting Margarito again. I think Margarito can fight a rematch against Williams after fighting De La Hoya for reward, recognistion and reputation that he deserves.

As someone mentioned already, De La Hoya didn't give Strum and a rematch opportunity. This is a pretty corrupted logic. He needs to turn down the Pacquiao fight and step up to Magarito. Win or lose, he'll be remembered as a brave and respectable fighter for decades.

Oscar is kool if he wants to fight PacMan let him fight pacman but Who is Shaefer to be Saying Who Margarito should fight next? Margarito will eventually
face Williams, Clottey but none of those fights together will bring the money that Oscar brings. I say let Margarito at least get One fight that is lowrisk hi reward, he deserves it.
