***newsflash***...pacman and roach called out de la hoya first..pacman is skilled and can take care of himself. meeting at 147 is no problem..that would just make oscar taller. oscar said way before the cotto and margarito fight that he will not end his career against another mexican fighter, it was a hard road for him to win over the mexican fan base from chavez sr. back when they fought. the media started the pacman de la hoya idea and it was discussed and roach said manny would knock out oscar and so forth. they even asked if oscar would fight chavez jr. he said no..margarito is using the avenging chavez sr as a way to lure oscar. wont happen. nobody complained when mayweather moved up to fight oscar..nobody complained when oscar fought hopkins, nobody complained when roy jones went up to heavyweight and fought ruiz..nobody complained about holyfield bieng lighter than the rest or when tyson fought foes that weighed 60 more pounds then him. the truth is manny is a force and he is destroying top mexican fighters left and right. he aint scared, he thinks he can beat oscar..so why is everyone whining? one thing for sure, pacman wont ride the bike like mayweather did..it will be toe to toe action..let em get it on...anything can happen in the ring, one punch can turn a fight like that..boxing is tha bomb baby....oh by the way too bad dana white blocked his boy silva from fighting roy jones...silva would of gotten his ass whoooooped!! peace out

My 2 Cents

Schaefer is the disgusting one for supporting this fight between de la hoya and pacquiao. De la hoya is EVEN MORE disgusting for selecting an undersized opponent and having his secretary (Schaefer) try to divert attention elsewhere when the opponent (Margarito) MOST people want to see him fight comes up.

Also, I believe Margarito should fight an easier fight next, but if there isn't one he should fight Shane Mosley if he wins. I do agree he should fight Paul Williams within a year and it will not be an easy fight, but I'll be picking him.

***SIDE NOTE***
Since MOST hardcore boxing fans seem to be disgusted by the idea of the upcoming fight between De La Hoya Vs Pacquiao. I suggest the following, if each of us didn't order the PPV and educated the common boxing fan on why they shouldn't be ordering this fight also. (An event solely made to take our money, Mismatch, Oscar avoided a more deserving fighter, BS excuses, *ADD your own, etc) Then we would be able to shed some light in their eyes and possibly make enough noise to either make a dent in the PPV buys, Media Calling out Oscar negatively, or HOPEFULLY cancel this fight. I know I will be doing my part……

Ima a Delahoya fan but they need to quit lying to themselves. Oscar isnt afraid of anyone but just admit they want a pretty easy winnable fight for his finale. There were weaknesses in Cotto and thats why they were looking at him as well. If Paul Williams is the best in their eyes, why not fight him instead of the 135lb champion (not even really champion just a belt holder). Margarito-Delahoya is just as big as Pac-Delahoya, I dont think too many people are going to be fooled by Pac somehow having a chance. Arum needs to just say Pac isnt available, because then Margarito would become the only option. The avenging his idol Chavez for Margarito is a better storyline if they want to build up the fight anyways.
