Williams will win this fight also, williams is just as tough as margarito and takes a punch equally as well, the difference is williams is a more skilled fighter with a bigger arsenal and punch variety and he is more active for the duration of the fight. This makes williams a very difficult fight for any fighter to defeat, margaritos success is based on his pressure and activity, and an iron chin, oddly enough all those things are negated by williams better activity, higher punch output, soild chin, and superior overall boxing skill because of these intangibles williams will beat margarito 9 out of every 10 times they fight, williams will beat him again if they ever meet again, that's if margo has the cojones to fight him a second time I believe it's going to take serious money and convincing to ever get margo back in the ring with williams again.

Good Business

First time in the this blog and have read all the comments....really like the fact that their are some die hard fans of boxing in here....I didnt pay much attention to Marg before his win over Cotto but now have much respect for him as a fighter...In my opinion he is not a great great boxer but definitely a warrior and will always give any boxer trouble and outwork most fighters...Boxing is a business and the part fans forget is the business side of the sport....at the end of the day these fighters still have to feed their family's and pay their bills...anyone thats in BUSINESS is in that business to make money regardless of the business and this includes sports...however giving the fans what they want is important but never at the expense of making less money in addition to the risk of losing and making even less money thereafter....I truly understand why Margarito is calling out DLH...hell I understand why every fighter calls out DLH...MONEY...its a business remember....every fighter knows that if they fight DLH they will have their biggest pay day...no one wants to fight DLH to secure their legacy or add it to their resume...beating DLH at this stage of his carrier to me isnt that impressive and does nothing for any elite fighter as far as I am concerned...it only makes pac look good because of him moving up in weight...and also in Margarito's defense he took less money and passed on what would have been a bigger fight the last time he fought Williams which is something most fighters never do....to me this says alot about margarito and on that note alone I feel he gets a FAN PASS if he wants to duck Williams this time for a BIG PAY DAY....its obvious he isnt scared of him...but a pay day from fighting DLH could set him up for life and thats what being in BUSINESS is all about....i dont agree its the best fight for him or fans either but I dont pay his bills nor do I feed his family...once again something fans never care about...i am a huge fan of boxing and love to see the best fights made just like all true fans but i also see fighters try to please their fans and end up ruining their careers inside and outside the ring...not saying i agree with ducking any fighter...however making business decisions when you choose a fighter should always come first especially when anything can happen in the ring to make it your last fight....ITS ALWAYS A RISK....i think DLH is making a ***** move by fighting pac but once again its business...different business for DLH because its not mainly about the money although he will make a lot regardless of how many people try to ban it or not buy it...pac's fans will but it and DLH fans will but it....thats all they need....the business for DLH is that he wants to retire and in the game of boxing retiring is already like a crackhead quiting his habit cold turkey....so DLH knows that if he loses what is suppose to be his last fight he will have a hard time not returning to the sport....THAT being said it is safe to say DLH has made up his mind and WILL NOT fight Margarito....So Marg you tried to do good business and it will not happen so I have to agree that the next best thing is for you to fight Williams...no other fight will pay as much....no other fight is in more demand....and its an opportunity to avenge your loss....THATS GOOD BUSINESS...and its a great PLAN B since DLH will not fight you....i think Marg fighting zab would be pointless but a good fight HOWEVER not GOOD BUSINESS especially since he just came off a lost and fans dont want to see it...in addition not a big pay day

This brings me to another subject of someone that is doing GOOD BUSINESS regardless of what critics or true boxing fans may think....MAYWEATHER....yes he may have ducked some fighters and yes in the eyes of many still has a lot to prove but because he was so hated...that one lost would have been enough for critics, fans, and big sponsors to shut him out...i truly think he would have beat DLH again and he could beat Marg or any other fighter in 147 or 154....but think of how big his name is just because of how he did BUSINESS...he retired at his peak and has a name that is household and marketable as well and if he ever came back would have huge PPV numbers just cause he is hated and people want to see him fail...as a smart fighter, which he has always been, he can now use that to make as much money as possible and never fade as a marketable name in the game that is bigger then boxing...LIFE....oh of course I think he will be back...but only when he has made the best of being the best....there are only a few fighters in HISTORY that can really say they are wealthy...most of your big names in all of boxing history are struggling today or was at some point and wish they did things different..some cant get a commercial or endorsement even on trade for the companies product....something Mayweather will never have to say...to add to all of this, once the best P4P at 147 rises to the top to be undisputed (like possibly Berto, williams, or even Marg), mayweather will come out of retirement for another huge Pay Day and be able to use the crutch of being inactive if he was to suffer a lost which would fuel a rematch.....now thats GOOD BUSINESS!!
