If thats tour definition of a better resume then Winky's I heavily advise you to really take up a different sport as you must not be inclined to watchd a lot of boxing outside of your homeland. Joe Calzaghe is a good fighter, who has had Frank Warren keeping him away for too long. If he had the intentions of being an ATG he would have been in the US fighting Eltie fighters 7-8 years ago. Instead, Warren has kept him away from Mega fights and fighting top notch guys, becuase if that was the case, Calz would have lost at least 3-4 fights hands down. And another thing, maybe you should watch the Hopkins fight a few more times and really try not to be biased towards your fighter, if thats the case then dont bother, you tell me who landed the cleaner MORE EFFECTIVE shots throughout that fight......

And further more, this is not hating on you at all, but boxing in your home country will only hurt your rep not help. People want to see good fighters come across the sea and fight in Vegas and Madison Square and so forth. One fight in Las Vegas against a 43 year old man does not qualify as a great victory........

I cant wait until Roy really blasts this guy into retirement so you guys will finally see y Frank Warren had done all he could to keep him away for so long....Not to mention the reason this guy didnt fight over here is becuase he had no desire too, point blank. Fighters will be remembered for fighting other fighters, not staying in there homeland and fighting bums!

          OWN THAT ONE BUDDY!

            1. When did I EVER state that.

            2. Your right there.

            3. Hopkins doubled the money just before they were going to sign the fight, Jones clearly stated alot that he didn't want to fight Calzaghe, he said "High risk, low reward".

            4. Wrong (but there's no point in arguing over stuff we cannot prove, opinion is not fact).

            5. Calzaghe LANDED more punches on Bernard than anyone else had ever done, Hopkins was running the entire fight, Cal forced the action. Hopkins a number of times took time out to "Recover" from a supposedly low blow. Yea, a winner right there.

            6. Hopkins was the reigning light heavyweight champion, did you not want Calzaghe to fight Hopkins???

            7. Roy is too shot now, he has no chance. Would have been a good fight in their primes though, if Roy didn't avoid him.

I just broke your argument down piece by piece, now that is getting

3 Jones wouldnt fight him b/c he wouldnt go across the sea y BECAUSE HE WAS ROBBED IN THE OLYMPICS AFTER BEATING THE PISS OUTTA WOMSONE AND DIDNT GET THE DECISION..........NUFF SAID!! And maybe if Calz had actually FOUGHT SOMEONE OF IMPORTANCE in his career, then there would have been a reward for JONES!
4 Thats just really ****** of you to say!
5 AAAHHHHHHHHH If you by some mean call them punches u have lost your mind. He landed about 50 punches and 175 slaps. Teach the guy how to actually punch with conviction then talk to me. Compubox is not a way of judging a fight, and if you think it is your again sadly mistaking. You dont take into consideration what compubox says, more the half the shots hit Hopkins arms and his elbows, good one bud. And also yes he took time from them low blows. A CAGEY VETERAN........5 mins is awarded to everyone who is hit with a low blow regardless of how hard he was hit. And if you think that he was taking time off becuase Calz hurt him again your sadly mistaking. He was yes tired, not hurt, get a grip. Every fighter is entilted to 5 mins after a low blow, learn boxing bud.
              6. No,m never said that, but what he should have done is fight Kelly Pavlik, or someone like this. What exactly did he prove in getting by with a SD.....NOTHING AT ALL.....Seeing as though a lot of observers again seen Hopkins doing all the damage. Bottom line is he beat a 43 year old man by 1 POINT. There goes that arguement......
7 No chance....Are you seriously joking me right now?!?!?! They guy may be shot but Calz is tailor made for him and you know it. Jones will be a determined fighter come Nov. and he will hand Calz a loss.

And lastly seeing if you would have totally broke down my entire arguement piece by piece, then how come I just counterred it and once again made ya look kinda dumb....You should just left it alone, now you really made yourself look bad..And Im not gonna say I owned you.....Cuz im not 13 anymore, I will let this piece stand for itself and everyone else can tell you who got owned!!!!!!!!!!
