if vargas could give tito a handful why cant margarito. If vargas sent tito flying on his ass why cant margarito. Margarito's chin is a million times tougher than vargases. How will tito handle the pressure and body work. here's all this talk about tito's movement and boxing skill beating margarito, but that's the same **** we all heard about cotto. trinidad isn't a great boxer like some people say and his foot work is horrible!!!!!!!! I like trinidad he is in my top 5 all time favorite! I think it would be a great fight with both guys having an equal chance to win. I really couldn't pick a winner. If i absolutely had to pick a winner if my life depended on it....ummm i'd either flip a coin or settle for trinidad

There's a big difference between Vargas and Margarito, Vargas left hook carried a lot more power than Margarito's shots. Campas also had an iron chin up to that moment and he was never the same, also more power than margarito. Sorry guys, but brawlers at 47 vs Tito had no chance.

That wasn't my point. Cotto fought 12 hard rounds with Mosley, even out boxing him late in the fight.

The peoblem with fighting Marg is not your stamina, it's your ability to take a ton of punches. Because you will get hit my Marg one way or the other.

Rememeber, Marg is NON STOP for 12 rounds. I just have never seen Tito is a grueling fight like that with the type of fighter that Margarito is.

I repsect Tito's power and he had a ton of it but if he doesn't get to Marg early on, I think Marg wears him down like he does everyone else and could KO him late.

and i say.. watch the vargas fight.. i wasnt comparing or anything.. u were asking for a grueling fight for 12 rounds.. and i give u one..

i did not say he was like margarito.... but because of the beating that cotto took.. suddenly margarito is destroying everyone even in fantasy fights that we would never found out the ending...

Because Vargas's defense was way better than Margarito's. Vargas didn't come at Tito he boxed off the back foot and used his jab and used lateral movement.

Vargas found out in the first 30seconds that you dont stand in front of Tito. Again it wasn't tough come at you guys that beat Tito. It was guys bigger than Tito +160lbs AND with EXCELLENT defenses.

You guys also think because Margarito dwarfs and imposes his size on todays WW's that he can do it against Tito who himself was a damn big WW at 5'11. No man has stayed in front of Tito to trade and finished the fight standing.

oh and for the record...pre-Margarito fight I also had Tito beating Cotto in one of the older threads.

Again, I will say I never said Marg would beat Tito hands down, I just tried to answer the people on here saying he would get KO'd by Tito in under 6....that's BS.

Marg doesn't destroy Tito, Tito was big and strong but wasn't a great boxer, at least not as good as Cotto.

I could see Tito winning and I could see Marg winning in a grueling fight. Vargas vs Tito wasn't THAT grueling, not the way marg comes at you.
