So sad. Puerto rican fighteres lose and they forget about him. How ****en sad.

Trinidad was a great fighter to watch in his prime but he fought some ****ty ass fighters along the way just as any other great fighter did.

Triniidad was dropped by any fighter with a decent punch.

Trinidad imo, never faced a chin like Margarito or a will as great as his or a continuous puncher as Margarito. And Margarito is Trinidads size.

Trinidad had power, but Mayorga laughed at his power. Had he not done that he would have gone 12 with Margarito. And Margarito is 2-3 times the fighter Mayorga was.

Great match up, and close fight. Margaritos defense is under rated. And Trinidads power is over rated.

LMAO, at you ricans talking **** about your own fighters, lol. Look what the Cotto lose has done to you guys. What a ****en shame.

WHOA WHOA!! We're talking prime for prime buddy.

    Overrated? Tito's power?

    I've heard enough.

Over rated in this post hell yeah. Reid got knocked down by Kirino Garcia a bilion times and before he fought Trinidad he also got knocked down many times.

Vargas, still became champion again and fought Delahoya and gave Delahoya a tougher fight before he got ko'd.

Vargas also mad Trinidad cry like a *****.

Joppy, lol, we know what Hopkins did to Joppy.

Keith Holmes was matched with Hopkins and if you know boxing and who Holmes is you'll know why he wasn't matched with Trinidad.

Trinidads power didn't faze Delahoya at all!

He had great power as i said, but over rated at least by puerto ricans.

Chavez gets **** on for fighting lesser fighters but those were tune ups, stay in shape, but Triniadad fought Penalton, a fighter that was way washed up and look at his record for the those haters.

Ike v. Trinidad wonder why King was afraid to make that fight happen?

Trinidad is probably the only welterweight in the last 15 years that I would give a chance to knock Margarito out, even if he doesn't I think he would win a decision.

Why you even mention the Puerto Ricans?

            Its about Trinidad vs Tony.

Trinidad's power at 147 wasn't overrated. Just because he didn't hurt De La Hoya doesn't mean he doesn't hit hard. You can't hit a moving target with much leverage. Styles make fights.

What Hopkins did to Joppy was after he was dismantled by Tito.. We all know where his career went after that.

And look at David Reid... He was shattered aswell.. Did you see his eyes after he fought Trinidad? Talk about droopy eyes. He wasn't the same after that fight. Someone mentioned that before and if caught my eye.

Reid already had the eye condition before the Trinidad fight, he got it early in his pro career when he got thumbed and it damaged his eyelid so he couldn't open his eyes fully.

His management threw him in against Trinidad because they knew Reid couldn't fight on for much longer with the eye problem so they made the most money for Reid and themselves before Reid's eye condition worsened.

Luis Ramon "Yori Boy" Campas took probably the worst beating of all Trinidad opponets. Yet, he still became Champion after the Trinidad lose and he's still fighting. I like the tale that Trinidad ruins fighters but its not true, but its a great tale for sure. Trinidad was a badass there no doubt, i used to be a fan of his, still was when he fought Jones Jr. But im just telling it how i see it.

Reid also had opperation for that eye but it still wasn't 100 percent. His best win was the Boudini fight he looked great in that fight.

It wasn't, doctors told him he'd have a few more years at most before his eye got worse and he wouldn't be able to fight.

Reid had great potential and was actually doing a pretty good job against Trinidad early.

I should have thought about it more clearly before posting it.. I could'nt remember it though. That's cleared out then. Thanks.

But even puttin them with Trinidad was a poor decision. Made the eye even worse than what it was.. It sucks, but either way.. I wonder how much he made for the fight?
