Danilo Haussler Says "Mikkel Kessler is Beatable"

In October, a long wait will come to an end for Danilo Haussler. The 33-year-old German will finally make his first world title fight, challenging Danish super-middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler. To be in top shape for the biggest bout of his career, Haussler has been training extremely hard in Manfred Wolke´s famous gym in Frankfurt/Oder. “I came close to world title fights a couple of times,” Haussler said. “Four or five years ago, I did not get my shot because Sven Ottke and Markus Beyer were first in line. After that I got close several times but it did not happen due to various reasons. That is why I am very happy to finally get this chance.”

the fact he has a loss on his record confirms that hes beatable. Im disappointed with Kessler fighting these sub-standard challengers. He should grow a pair and chase a fight with someone like froch.

              Sure he's beatable. Everybody is.

Good thing that Haussler is top-motivated. He'll need that to get in the best possible shape so that he might avoid embarrasing himself and WBA for making him a mandatory.

I've got a feeling the bookies will make Haussler as big an underdog as Lockett was when he fought Pavlik.

If you've been waiting half a decade for a title shot, there's a good sign that you might not be a real danger to the title anymore. If you ever were.

Froch.. might suck. He's still more of a name and challenge than Haussler.
