Should there be a height limitation in every weight class?

depending on the weight class of course

say a flyweight outweighed his opponent by 15-20 pounds on fight night, unless the smaller guy was a magnificent boxer that spells trouble between two ripped evenly matched athletes

but say a cruiserweight outweighed his opponent by the same amount, its not as big a deal

so different weight classes should have different restrictions on how much the fighters can put on between weigh in and fight night

Celestino Caballero is a Fraud, at 5'10, he manages to squeeze his body to 122 Ibs. Mhen a lot of super bantamweights nowadays are like 5'3, 5,4 , 5'5..

Most Asian boxers fight at 122 and most of them probably are short.

I agree, hydrated weigh-ins would solve all of these problems. Lock the fighters in a room, make them drink several gallons of water, wait a few hours for them to piss out the water their body doesn't need, and weight them.

Its the perfect solution. No more gigantic fighters in weight divisions that they don't belong in.

well if we implemented same day weigh ins i think celestino would most likely be fighting at featherweight or super feather, as he should be

What do you think guys? Is height really is MIGHT in boxing or skills still prevail over physical advantages?
no height limit but they should change the weigh-ins to the day of the fight. that will fix things up I think.

If they did that, at what weight would Pacquiao fight?

probably jr. welterweight right now. that would probably go for most of the fighters. I think a good 80% of the boxers right now wouldnt' be fighting in the weight class that their are currently fighting in if there was a fight day weigh-in.

Pac would re-hydrate 6-7 pounds a few hours before a fight? That is nearly a gallon of water in a few hours. While resting.
