He looked rubish but rubish fighters don't beat Zab.

I expected more from him, but he fought well enough that he was gonna take Zab out sooner or later anyway. Still wanna see em fight again tho.

Clottey is a good boxer who mostly showed his counter punching skills in this fight.

Against Margarito, he was busier and outboxing Margo.

His right hand lead was snapping Judah's head back repeatedly.

His tight defense is pretty good if only to shield himself from flurries until he gets a chance to throw back. Not so good if he faces a faster and busier fighter like Williams, who throws punches in bunches and from different angles.

I thought he did okay, nothing spectacular. He'd beat Berto though.

It was actually a good fight.

It was the definition of a boxing match.. Some good action, boxing skills, speed, and power..

Clottey would give any welter champ hell.
I think he'd beat most of the top welters as well..
              I agree with this.

Zab didn't evolve. You put Zab's hands with Margarito stamina and Floyd Mayweather's well, everything, you would have a wracking ball man fighter

He stays in his shell too often sometimes. He should at least pump his jab more, or he's going to get outworked by guys like Margarito and Williams. When he lets go he can be impressive with his left hooks, uppercuts, and lead right hands. But his lack of activity can hurt him.

He gets an excuse by everyone because of his injured hands against Margarito. And because of that I think people are overstating how well he was doing early on. Like Margarito was getting dominated or something, and that definitely was not the case. In fact if they rematch I think Margarito will beat him in the same fashion.

One thing some people don`t realize about Clottey is that he does`nt have the greatest Stamina. If Clottey is very busy he burns out after 4 or or 5 rounds and starts to fight in spurts.

Thats why i beleive he was being conservative with Zab.Its very dangerous to fatigue early against a puncher like Zab.

It seemed like the majority of rounds that zab was able to win was mostly do to inactivity on clottey's part. It's like he's studying his opponent for the first few rounds to see what they have offensively and then opens up on his shots. I haven't seen much of clottey besides his two most recent fights. It's enough to make me want to take a trip to the video to 'ol video trading block to see what they have of him.
