2) Are you referring to 2005? Wasn't Floyd at 140 through june for the gatti fight? So, to be clear, you are saying that Margarito, who had a belt at 147, wanted to fight a 140er. Is that what you are saying?

Margarito however, did call out Mayweather before he was fighting Mitchell (they say it during Mayweather-Mitchell), but they never made him an offer.
