    Guess who said this:

And what does height have to do with size again? You mean Paul Williams is bigger than David Tua?

So, when you discount Mayweather's height, what is his "huge physical advantage"? Remind me:

Weight? No. Hatton was 6-7 pounds heavier on fight night.

Experience at higher weights? No. Mayweather had 6 or 7 fights at 140+. hatton had 43 fights at 140 plus.

Strength? No. See my sig, but the people who were picking hatton were doing so because Hatton was 'too strong and physical" for Floyd.

JJ, i'd actually respect you if you admitted that you just got caught in double-talk in consecutive posts. Otherwise....

Yes, i said Floyd and pac are about the same size. And I defined "size' in boxing as weight. Boxing has weight classes. not height classes. Or reach classes.

On fight night, Floyd is about 147-148. Pac has been about 146. As an engineering major, I can do that math.

Notice how I said reach, not wingspan (which is meaningless.) In this fight both Cotto and Margarito's arm length (reach) were listed at 23 1/2".

The main extreme physical advantage that Floyd had over Hatton was arm length as well, a freakish (same was Wladimir Klitschko) 26" for Floyd to an extremely short 20" for Hatton.

Reach matters much more than height in boxing.

Margarito started like he starts all of his fights. He didn't start "slow" That's a tired excuse. Williams started fast like he said he would. That was the problem for Margarito.

I guess you like to make up numbers. Mayweather made 8 million plus ppv money for Baldimer. He made at least 25 million against Delahoya.

If you followed boxing back then, you would know the facts. HBO constantly brings up the fact that Mayweather ducked Margarito because it's a fact...
I see you conveniently left out the fact that Mayweather is suing Arum right now because of millions of dollars that Arum has admitted to owing Mayweather. So it's a no brainer that Mayweathwer would rather buy out his contract to get away from a shady promoter cheating him out of his money. Of course being afraid of Margarito sounds much better to those who want to make Margarito look better than he is. Margarito fought Paul Williams the first time because Williams was his mandatory. Not by choice. He did not want to be stripped and the WBO ruled that if he skipped over that fight he would have been stripped. Also, it took a lot of money from Goosen to get Margarito in the ring with Williams just as he is trying to do right now. You would think that Margarito would want to avenge that loss. But in interviews he NEVER even mentions Williams name. Even when he is asked about Williams he avoids the question. Hmmmm
