Iron Mike Tyson Bad Man or Bad Boxer??

Ok fellas this is my first post on the forum and I had to take it to the extreme. I know there are alot of boxing fans out there that even though Iron mike had been convicted of **** and bit Evander Holyfields ear off all his foul tatics in th ering stand by him and will pay $49.95 right now to see him have a sparring match with his own shadow. I for one are one of those people. I thought at the time when he reigned supreme through out the boxing world that no one was was more exciting to watch then he. They claimed he was the baddest man on the planet. The Dynamite Kid, Iron Mike the Knock Out king. When I used to watch thtis man fights it wasn't a matter of if Mike would knock his oppenent out it was how quickly and don't blink or go to the fridge for a refreshment cause by the time you got back it would be over.

Over the years and after he came out of prision he got away from his boxing skills and forgot about using his jab moving his head and hitting the body. He forgot everyone and everything it took to get him where he was and became a 1 punch knockout artist. if it wasn't over in the first 4 rounds Tyson would fade and be out boxed by lesser opponents. He was always just looking for the one punch and that was it. The old Tyson that used to throw the kab hook to the body and then follow with the uppercut through the gloves was gone. No doubling up on his hooks no more hooking off his jab. No head movment after the first 3 rounds. I mean Lennox figured him out pretty fast in their meeting. He would stick the jab out Tyson leaned to his left boom uppercut. Well my question is bad man or bad boxer. I thought he was a bad man who became an awful boxer. I also thought the heavy weight division went to the super duper heavy weight division on him over night. he went to prision came home and the guys just got bigger and heavier. Imagine him 5' 11 218 in his prime going up against Vlad 6' 6 250. Just don't jive. I think they need to bring back a weight limit on heavy weights.

If Tyson landed on Wlad it would be over and Tyson always had an iron chin. It tyook rounds of punishment to take him down. Wlad has never shown an abilty to take substained attacks and Brewster wasn't much bigger than Tyson and you know what happened there.Tyson chopped down Rudduck nad beat him twice. Had Tony Tucker holding the whole fight and Tucker was 6-5. I wouldn't be comfortable picking Wlad over a prime Tyson but I can see his size being a problem. You have a point there.

This is so true I really wanted to see if anyone felt the way I did about the weight limit on the heavys. Check my other poll fellas. I think tyson inhis prime would clean up the Division right now. I just can't see him fighting that 7 foot 1 monster.

I am watching my Tyson DVD Collection now, this thread inspired me. Tyson just sparked some fool that dared to hit him in 1 round. The dude was doing ok, then he hit Tyson, and Tyson KHTFO.
