        When did they?

Tyson was a new breed, and one that never carried on. I wish Tyson hadn't had all the trainer and prison **** goin on else he would have been so much better later on in his career.

Yea, I was thinking of what to watch and Tyson seemed appealing. I wish we got someone like that now, Wlad is good and is very talented, But if we had a Mike Tyson it would be awesome.

I hate Tyson as most on this forum know. He is, imo, one the most overrated fighters in the history of the sport.

With that being said, he would put Wlad in a coma.

Here it is....Tyson had the potential to be the best and at one point was the best.. But after cus, Don king rode his cash cow into the ground. His chin was iron but after prison and a life like his it wore down....I think after cus was gone so was his heart, drive, motivation. What came next was just life in fast lane wearing no seatbelt...He was gentle person before king helping his opponents up and talking to them..HIs career was a travesty because he could have been so much more...You say hes overrated but when have you seen someone so dominant and exciting as Tyson in your lifetime?????He was pretty much the first oscar de la hoya.....Mike will always bring money and attract people because they want to try to catch a glimpse of Mike of old...I think hes come back around full circle he seems gentler.. I saw him signings autographs for kids and he was all smiles.

Pre-bad man and bad boxer, Mike was the shanitzzle.

I prefer to think of him when he ruled the heavy weight division like an unchained pit bull.

Knockin' heads off like the grim reaper.

Well, not that bad. But, devastating nonetheless.

Don King and jail? Mike was a bum even way back in the day when Cus had watch over him. He has nobody to blame but himself.

                      That is true.

He was given a second chance, albeit a very strict and disciplined one, but with major benefits, and managed to throw it All away.

It is now that he's feeling the repercussions of his wrong doings.

It's too sad thinking about the "what ifs" of his career.

He left a void that's still waiting to be filled by another spectacular heavy weight boxer of his likeness.
