Margarito's Manager: " De La Hoya is Afraid To Fight"

DLH's a disgrace - first Forbes, now Pacquiao - no way will I watch that - he should fight Margarito or Williams, but he's a coward - beating Pacquiao does nothing for showing who the best welterweight is!

i have a feeling that dlh will fight margarito,
he is just looking at his options right now,
margarito would be nice for boxing fans, but it won't generate mind blowing numbers like he wants and it would be risky

Manny's first pro fight was at 106 lbs.!
Oscar has fought twice at 160 lbs.!

Is DLH the biggest vagina and con artist who ever walked the earth??

DLH is so pathetically desperate to go out on a win he'd probably turn down Laila Ali as being too risky.
He's also desperately trying to come up with a sales pitch to get you to buy this sham of a fight - "We shook hands, but then Manny went with Arum... so this time it's personal!"

LET'S SEND THE RIGHT MESSAGE: BOYCOTT THIS BULL**** PPV

cosign. same thing i was thinking. he wants to go out on a win, so therefore he won't fight margo..........

its funny to think about his bull**** tho. i thought he told his wife, he would never fight another puerto rican, out of respect for her, but that was when he thought the floyd fight was definitely a go. that falls through, and he ends up courting cotto AND trinidad!

now he'll never fight another mexican...........SMH

aiight. ignorant comments from ignorant fans.........................

                what about mayweather?????

why is margarito looking to fight oscar, when we all kno he needs to be fighting PW?

when mayweather was looking to fight oscar instead of cotto or margarito, he was a punk, *****, etc........................

if cotto had won, he was already looking to set up a fight w/ joshua clottey, he wanted nothing to do w/ paul williams. now, margarito wants oscar, clottey, judah, mayorga, or shane mosley.........every1 except paul williams, who just beat him by the way......................

so my question is to everybody who has ever bashed floyd mayweather-

WHAT DO WE CALL COTTO AND MARGARITO FOR BOTH DUCKING PAUL WILLIAMS, THE BEST ACTIVE WELTER......................
becuz he he will most likely lose and the PW sweepstake would begin! so he and his team are trying to milk this opportunity for as long as possible! Remember what Arum "boxing is a business" and note the timing of that statement. He will steer clear of PW. This was the motive behind PW and co. trying to secure higher weight division fights. The most feared man in BOXING.

plain and basic common sense. what can margarito do to erase the fear in the hearts of these fighters such as dlh???

I personally think Margarito is bigger money simply because we know he puts on a show; he deserves a shot because he beat Cotto in his best moment, I don't know who else would have been able to KO cotto besides Margarito.
if they fight my educated guess would be that it would be the highest grossing PPV more than mayweather/DLH even if most people here thinks this fight is a joke. its still 2 huge names in boxing combined with it being DLH last fight. i rather see him fight margarito too but i think this has the potential to be a good fight too

no, i agree with that. you're absolutely right..........

my question was moreso posed to the cotto and margarito fans, who always called floyd a ***** for looking for the big money fights............i was just pointing out that their guys are about to do the same thing. LOL

but i knew what time it was, when after the fight, arum says "its time for tony to make some money!" he didn't say, its time to clean out the division, or rule the division, he said its time to make some money!!! i knew then he wasn't going to fight PW, and then the next day i hear names like judah and mosely...........SMH
