De La Hoya is afraid to fight. He knows a body shot from Margarito will leave him screaming like a girl on the canvas just like against Hopkins.

HBO has reserved the pay-per-view date of December 6 for the final fight of De La Hoya's career. [details]
It's true enough that Manny fights at 135, but you should have mentioned that just 4 months ago he was fighting at 130 lbs, 3 years ago was fighting at 125 and just 5 years ago was fighting at 122,................. and had HIS VERY FIRST at 135, only ONE MONTH ago exactly.
You could also have mentioned that he hasn't grown any taller in all that time being still 5'6" tall, whilst Oscar has been a middleweight champion, and is 4 inches taller at 5'10".
This would have shone a proper, more revealing light on this disgusting matter.
I don't know what's going on in Freddy Roach's head other than how big a cut he'd get from a De LaHoya fight................
And I'll go against conventional wisdom and say, that regardless of Manny's
great victory, he was fighting against a slow moving target, rather like a swinging heavy bag, who couldn't hurt him, and so ,could show off his skills. Against a quick moving guy who could box and punch, it would have been a different fight altogether. I personally think that he's already reached his peak and is on his way back down.........Just my opinion.

Damn right, I won't buy the ppv if Oscar fights pacman either, I don't know any Mexican that will. Oscar is giving himself and boxing a bad name by fighting smaller guys. I personally think Margarito is bigger money simply because we know he puts on a show; he deserves a shot because he beat Cotto in his best moment, I don't know who else would have been able to KO cotto besides Margarito.

On the other hand as I mentioned before... I never like DLH and I'm happy that he finally retires. I think that he has done the sport no good ecspecially in the last few years. He probably is famous around celebrities and hey he acts like a nice dude and celebrities have also money to go see him fight a nobody. It's time for him to go... it's only sad that he ain't give the opportunity to some1 who could really thrive on it. Even if Pac wins what is impossible but if he does he probably will be more adored by the Phillippines but still... Pac is known.
To tell you the truth... the fight is so bogus I really ask myself how he is doing it when the fight arrives. I mean it will be so clear to see that he probably has to loose the first few rounds with intention to make it look like Pac at least had a chance. They already dropped the BS with the only advantage DLH has is his size (even his henchman said that at this stage Pac has more speed then DLH, so why get upset if Roach says it???). They now playing the personal thing card. So it's good that Marga's manager also tries to make it personal. But still... DLH will fight Pac. I mean who should say something that makes it change? HBO *looooooooooooooooooool* Bob Arum *looooooooooooooool*

By the way... Mr. Arum really do sucks. I mean I guess hes afraid about his pay day. Because if he would tell that he ain't wants Pac to fight DLH... DLH will take some1 whos not promoted by Arum. But I guess these days you can't expect a promoter to have balls... exspecially when the GB comes around.
