Well, DIOS isn't exactly the most insightful and intelligent debater, he's a troller. His strength is that he's too ****** to know when he's wrong so he just comes back with name calling.

One thing to consider is that it wasn't a one sided beat down like some of the fights you mentioned. Cotto was winning the fight, just couldn't keep up the pace and Margarito go the better of him of course.

That could be used as motivation for Cotto. He can use that and tell himself what he did wrong, what he needed to do differently, etc. Also, he now knows he's not invincible. A healthy dose of reality can be a good thing.

But only time will tell. No one knows how he'll be. Personally I hope he does bounce back, he was always entertaining and like him or not, he was down to fight the best. Gotta respect that.
