    He probably knew the stoppage was inevitable but he wasn't going to say "I Quit.", he was willing to go out on his shield, taking knees doesn't necessarily mean quitting, it's a good way to get a breather for at least 8 or 9 seconds.

    Bayless said he would have let it go on for a little because Cotto was still throwing and landing hard combinations.
