I'm not touchy about it and I don't really care how many people showed up to the fight. But, the facts are that this fight was more important to two races of people more so than any other regular boxing fan and last time I checked the US has more Mexicans and PR's than England. I sincerely doubt that the fight would do better in England.

The fight would do better in Britain, It would have sold out a 20-30k arena easily.

But read my first post, I simply asked how it looks for boxing that it didn't sell out a 15k arena and why it didn't ... Was it due to lack of promotion? Lack of interest? What?

When the PPV numbers come up you will or will not see how popular this fight was. The actual fight attendance really only affects the casino's and Vegas itself.

Why was the attendance so poor? I would say it's a combination of our economy and lack of popularity in boxing with an emphasis on the economy part of the equation.

This fight didn't do as bad as some of you might think, the PPV looks strong lets not forget that attendance isn't the be all and end all.
