If I'm not mistaken, that was the same guy who just beat Cotto. You can't have it all one way and then not the other way as well.

One could say that the Cotto who fought Margarito wasn't the same Cotto who beat Carlos Quintana. Or that Golden Johnson wasn't the same Golden Johnson who beat Oscar Diaz.

In boxing there is no excuse or room for spin. If you lose, you lose. If you win, you win.

Excellent response and the excuses don't cut it. Margarito was 100 percent prepared and he lost. Not accepting that and making excuses is desperate.

Give Paul Williams credit. He beat him flat out. There was no controversial decision. It was quite clear Margarito lost the fight.

This is what makes boxing good. There is a clear way to settle these little disputes, and thats by hitting each other. Right now Paul Williams is up 1-0 on Margarito, but don't get fooled by the spectacle. After a great performance like Margarito just put on, it's bound to stir up all kinds of boxing fans making outlandish remarks and disregarding the past.

If Margarito wants to clear up the clutter, I hear Paul Williams is very interested in a rematch.

Anyway, Paul "Bull****" Williams is the man who recently beat the Antonio "I walk on water and travel through time eating puertoricans along the way" Margarito. He may have lost to Quintana, but he avenged that loss the best way you can. Second, there are many who believe that PW beat Marg again.

And Marg hasnt been exactly begging for a rematch with him, but there's still plenty of time to do that. That is there's plenty of time before people say that he wants no part of Williams.

In my opinion Paul Williams has a better chin than Cotto and is better at neutralizing Margarito's best tools as opposed to Cotto who was at a height disadvantage and was being pushed all around the ring by Tony. The physical aspect is a lot different between PW/Tony than Cotto/Tony. Paul Williams has very underrated punching power as well.

It would be good if someone could find the video of Paul and Tony's fight.
