A rematch between them has fight of the year written all over it though. It's pretty hard to easily pick between them. Margs may have been off against PW, but PW may also have been off against Quintana. The thing is that it doesn't matter. Styles make fights. Margs may have been off because of PW's length and work rate and underrated power. All that being said, I'd love to see the rematch.
Agreed but Marg is a different man after the defeat. He has a new found "I don't give a **** who you are and how hard you hit me, I'm gonna knock you out or make you quit" attitude. Showed that against Golden J. showed that against Cintron, and really showed it against Cotto. Thats why i think Marg takes it

I dont think you understand what he said. There is a small chance he had a bad night. But I'd bet Paul Williams crazy reach/boxing skills/high workrate had a lot to do with it. A lot of boxers make excuses after a lackluster performance when they really shouldnt.

ok I understand that, but come rematch, your telling me the Marg who fought against Cotto can be stopped? The guy was taking clean HARD shots and then jogging back to attack Cotto

If I'm not mistaken, that was the same guy who just beat Cotto. You can't have it all one way and then not the other way as well.

One could say that the Cotto who fought Margarito wasn't the same Cotto who beat Carlos Quintana. Or that Golden Johnson wasn't the same Golden Johnson who beat Oscar Diaz.

In boxing there is no excuse or room for spin. If you lose, you lose. If you win, you win.

There are other ways to lose, like a decision. You don't have to be knocked out to lose.

Defeat- Miguel Cotto, which is impressive but does not erase the loss to Paul Williams.

Talking **** about Paul Williams if you like Margarito is ******ed because your basically saying he lost to an over rated guy which makes Margarito look worse. You should be big upping Williams so that loss is more understandable.
                Exactly. Thank you.

Give Paul Williams credit. He beat him flat out. There was no controversial decision. It was quite clear Margarito lost the fight.

So all you little boy's all excited about one lucky accomplishment by PW relax and hold on to your little 's and PRAY PW doesn't get the rematch (I'd refer it to an ASS WHIPPIN') he's asking for.
Williams already beat Margarito and probably will beat him again.

Williams/Quintana 1 was a fluke proved by the 1st round destruction of quintana in the rematch.

IF MARGARITO WANTS TO PROVE THAT HIS LOSS TO WILLIAMS WAS A FLUKE HE MUST STOP DUCKING HIM AND BEAT WILLIAMS IN THE REMATCH!!!
