Rewatch the end ... Cotto did quit!!

The morning after the fight i posted in a thread that Cotto did NOT quit.
However after watching the fight 3 more times since it is clear that after the 2nd knockdown Cotto shook his head and said "no" in the direction of his corner. Seconds later the towel was thrown in and the fight waved off.
This indicates to me that YES Cotto did indeed quit.
I almost felt sorry for the guy to be honest, Tony broke his heart and spirit as well as his face.
In my opinion, telling his corner he couldnt take any more was probably a sensible thing to do and my respect for him as a boxer has not diminished because of that.
Did anyone else see this?

I saw him nod after the fight was waved off, accepting his corner's decision. He didn't even look at his corner until his uncle/trainer was on apron.

to you Flawless i apologise as i think it was you that i quoted in the other thread and was pretty venomous in putting forward my opinion that Cotto had not quit.
I needed to watch the fight objectively and now i have its very apparent that you were indeed right my friend.

yeah i saw that too. cottos trained stepped onto the stairs and cotto looked at him while the ref was counting and nodded at his uncle to continue into the ring.

He didnt look like he wanted to continue I think they were about to thrown in the towel and Cotto nodded his head in agreement.
