So what how do you know 100% sure that he could continue or not. He was broke and was in shock the treatment Margarit had handed him. Margarito made Cotto quit. That is simple. If you can't continued it means you quit. If I was running 100m metres sprint and I was coming last do I just drop off and quit no. You finish what you come to do. He quit, why do you deny this. He didn't quit, he was done by the 8th round. His body wasn't as well conditioned as Margarito, because believe me, watch the whole fight again THEY BOTH took alot of punishment, Cotto landed the cleaner punches....Margo, the more punishing ones. When Cotto got extra tired, he stopped moving while against the ropes and took alot of unecessary shots, he probably should've gone down in the 10th but stayed up. By the eleventh he was spent beat and in shock...the look on his face said it. THe ref counted, Evangelista Cotto hopped up and threw int he towel , Margo jumped up in celebration, Cotto walked towards evangelista, and the ref then stopped the fight after he realised the towel was thrown in which cotto MArgo and the announcers saw first....Classic fight. One Love to both Warriors, don't call Cotto a quitter after he gave ya'll his best. Margo, damn he deserved it, I'm no Margarito fan but that dude was cheesin at the press conference smiling during his promo, shadowboxing to the anthem, that **** was his ****ing night.

that video does not show the whole picture, if you watch the Setanta Sports showing, without the close up on Cottos face you do indeed see him nod towards his corner when Evangelista has the towel.
