Even people who call it early, half of them were just cheering for their own to win, there is nothing wrong with that, but its not really all that objective, you will see very little logical reason among fans of a fighter, which is why it leads to what you are seeing now, half of these threads are just there to hate on fans/country/fighter etc.

He just had the right game plan and awkward style to disrupt what Ali wanted to do and he won their first bout as a result. Styles make fights is the truest cliche in boxing.
        Well said.......

this fight did not nothing to show that cotto cant beat mayweather. completely different styles that mayweather and margarito have. i have purposely been avoiding mayweather posts now cause they are a huge waste of time but its hard with some of these posts. im not saying cotto would beat mayweather although yesterday i did even after the fight but i take it back. still though it would be a close great fight with both fighters being capable of being able to win.

Whenever any world class fighter loses there are an army of 11 year old trolls on here that scream 'exposed' or 'bum'. Its just the mentality around here I'm afraid.

thats why us unbias hardcore fans felt like Margarito would win...it was obvious from the negotiating table that Cotto would have to fight off the back foot for 36 minutes.......we knew he wasn't gonna stop Margarito or land anything that would make Tony go in reverse gear....those two things were obvious and it manifested in the ring the way I thought it would!
