give cotto a rematch? I don't think cotto would even accept it, after the sixt round you could see he was feeling sorry for ever accepting to fight margaritto.
Cotto just isn't a defensive fighter and he can't slug it out agains't margarito cause margaritto is so much stronger so this was a total mismatch.
If they fight again Margarito will break cotto earlier.

No, Cotto found Margarito's weak point last night. In the rematch he will go for his balls.

still don't know why he didnt do it in the last 2 rounds, Trinidad used it succesfully.

PBF knew he would of had another Castillo one fight but with twice as much punch volume. Plus he wanted to take out Baldomir to land DLH,which made more $$$ sense. one thumb up for making his money, one thump down for dodging a fighter he knew he couldn't beat.

Margarito def. fought a good fight nd u give him credit for that but Cotto got off his game plan...if he would havve kept goin for the body margarito would have been worn down in da later rounds...but i think he beats Paul Williams nd then give Cotto the rematch and i will bet with ANYONE that Cotto wins the rematch.....nd PBF would have beaten Margarito EASY he would have outboxed him the whole time it would have been just as boring as the Baldomir fight.

Cong**** to MARG!!!! That man is a KILLER!!! He wont stop coming! Cotto took him to school but could not stand the shots coming from him. Much respect to Marg and his ability to take every shot Cotto gave and still TKO him. Much respect.

As far as Mayweather I had it figured that if Cotto won Mayweather would come back to fight him for a BIG MONEY fight. I'm a Mayweather fan and I don't think he will come back to face Marg. because Mayweather will box him to death like Cotto did but will not be able to take the shots.

A mayweather and Marg fight will look almost just like this fight did. I doubt PBF will return to face this beast. MUCH RESPECT and WHAT A HELL OF A FIGHT, gave me flash backs of the GATTI VS WARD fight!

MAN, THAT'S WHAT BOXING NEEDED. THANK YOU MEXICO AND THANK YOU PUERTO RICO!!!! DAMN FINE FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very entertaining fight! Margarito was definitely impressive. However, I hope you guys don't think that PBF couldn't have avoided those powerful yet slow-ass bombs that Marg was throwing. Cotto boxed some but he didn't pace himself and he thought that he could slug with him and his punches would eventually get to Margarito. The day that you see Floyd on the ropes taking 4 uppercuts in a row is the same day that you should quit the crack pipe. Don't think he is invincible for one moment. Dude has 5 loses with his latest coming against Williams. If Paul Williams could execute the perfect strategy, don't you think Floyd could?

As for Arum, he is slime! Dude never mentioned Margarito. He always talked about Cotto vs Floyd. Now listen to him. He must have went to Don King's school of promoters.

And the guys that Margarito beat are what? Mostly smaller, past prime, or shot.

This is considered margarito's first REAL quality win... you know that, right?
