That's never on the fighter in that instance, it's the refs job to see the fighter taking a knee and to step in, especially since Cotto has shown in previous fights he can get very low sometimes when avoiding punches.

Lampley is a biased ******* and it again showed tonight. He wanted the viewers to believe that only Cotto's punches were effective. Even when Cotto was clearly getting hit, Lampley would say nothing.But he would quickly point out when Margarito got hit. He's one of the worst blow by blow commentators in the business and always has been. He shouldn't get paid to be a cheerleader for fighters he prefers.
