Lampley is a biased ******* and it again showed tonight. He wanted the viewers to believe that only Cotto's punches were effective. Even when Cotto was clearly getting hit, Lampley would say nothing.But he would quickly point out when Margarito got hit. He's one of the worst blow by blow commentators in the business and always has been. He shouldn't get paid to be a cheerleader gor fighters he likes.

When Cotto was hurt he was like he has been here before nothing new.

Jim Lampley has always done that, both he and Larry Merchant. You should see the way they bend over backwards to kiss Oscar De La Hoya's ass. In Oscar's last fight he fought a lightweight who didn't even deserve a shot at the lightweight crown, let alone De La Hoya. But to hear Lampley and Merchant, it was one of the greatest victories of Oscar's career and a terrific display of is skill. The fact is the fight was boring as **** and Oscar shold have ko'd him in three rounds. Instead he fought a boring 12 rounder that didn't have a single knockdown. HBO would neveeeeeeeeer have approved Steve Forbes as a opponent for Floyd Mayweather.

Speaking of Mayweather, those two clowns criticize everything Floyd Mayweather does and/or refuses to give him any credit. Regardless of how you feel about Mayweather, that is not fair. That is why Mayweather lashed out at HBO recently.

Both Kellerman and Lampley as well as everyone at HBO were rooting for Cotto and were hoping for a Cotto-Mayweather fight later this year. Margarito rained on their parade.
