Will Floyd be remembered alongside other all time greats?

Will Mayweather be remembered with the likes of Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Jones and Whitaker 10 and 20 years from now? I have been among Floyds biggest detractors since he left the lightweight division and don't think he'll be remembered as favorably as the fighters I've named. But you never know what will happen down the road. Vote and discuss.

He will be somewhere like Hatton. Yes he beat hatton but not spectacularly. Only with the help of the american refereee. There are many boxers who win in many weight classes. But PBF hasnt got many really great names on his CV. His best name is Hattons. He could do with a few more who are, or could be better.
There are nt many better than Hatton for him to challenge. But COtto is a good starting point.
There are many boxers in history with resumes like PBFs. But only that they fought much longer past their best achieveing stuff. PBF did it when he was young. So what and who cares?

Did you see the poll result for Hatton's résumé agin Tszyu's?

          Mayweather's résumé > Tszyu's clearly.

Hatton would not be anywhere near Floyd in the all time standings.

          To suggest it is ridiculous.

Hell no he won't because Floyd never took place in any significant bout as those guys did. Prime vs prime, best against the best. Floyd never participated in anything that you'd want to keep in your head and remember days after watching it. They were all dreadful bouts with boring comp. Don't even bring up Oscar. Thus, he won't be remembered when you can't even remember the fights he took part in. Never 1 career highlight that you can remember for the ages.
